As President of M3, Dan brings 38 years of industry experience and a clear focus on delivering exceptional quality and value to every client. With a degree in Economics and a minor in Business from Northern Illinois University, Dan blends strategic thinking with a practical understanding of construction, gained from working hands-on with a concrete contractor during college breaks. Today, he leads the M3 team with a balanced approach—offering guidance when needed while trusting his team to manage day-to-day operations effectively.

Dan is motivated by the opportunity to turn client visions into reality and thrives on the challenges each new project brings. He values the relationships built through collaboration, communication, and mutual respect—whether with clients, trade partners, or his own team. His leadership is rooted in a simple but powerful principle: treat others as you wish to be treated. Dan takes great pride in the long-standing partnerships he’s helped build and in the culture of trust and professionalism that defines M3.

John Patrick Gallagher serves as Vice President at M3, bringing over 37 years of industry experience—including 27 with M3. His role spans sales, acquisitions, and managing operations, all with a focus on driving growth and delivering value. With a Finance degree from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, John’s career began hands-on, working for a concrete contractor to put himself through school—an experience that sparked his entrepreneurial spirit and deep respect for hard work.

John’s leadership style is rooted in flexibility and a commitment to organizational success. He’s motivated by collaboration and thrives on turning complex projects into real-world results. What he values most about his work at M3 is building long-term relationships—with both clients and teammates. John is especially proud of the strong client relationships he’s built over the years and the new growth opportunities he continues to help drive.

With over 40 years in the construction industry and 15 years at M3, Mark serves as Vice President and Managing Owner, overseeing sales, production, and daily problem solving. His management style is hands-on and straightforward, and he’s deeply involved in guiding projects and supporting his team. Certified in Deep Foundations and IGSPA ground source systems, Mark was the first approved installer of Stelcor deep foundations in the city of Chicago and brings 25 years of specialized experience in airport and hangar construction.

Mark’s passion for construction began early—riding in a motor grader with his father at age six—and that early interest has fueled a lifelong career. He’s motivated by the creative process and the challenges each project presents. At M3, he values the adaptability of small business and takes pride in the fact that 90% of the company’s work comes from repeat clients or referrals. His approach is guided by a commitment to ensuring both clients and employees have what they need to be safe and successful.

With over 30 years in the construction industry and a degree in Applied Technical Studies in Architecture from SIU, Mike brings a unique blend of architectural design and hands-on construction experience to M3. Before joining the team in 2015, he spent two decades in an architectural and design-build firm, where he advanced through leadership roles ranging from operations manager to senior project manager. At M3, Mike leads projects with a focus on clear communication, technical precision, and close collaboration with clients, design teams, and trade partners—ensuring every project is delivered to the highest standards.

Mike’s approach to construction is rooted in a lifelong passion for building and problem-solving. He’s motivated by the process of turning ideas into reality and finds deep satisfaction in helping teams navigate challenges to deliver successful outcomes. Known for his hands-on leadership style, he builds trust through respect, accountability, and integrity. He values the strong culture at M3, where mutual respect, autonomy, and professionalism create an environment for meaningful work and long-lasting client relationships. One of his proudest achievements is not just the projects themselves, but the trust and collaboration they've built along the way.

Thor grew up immersed in construction, gaining hands-on experience as a laborer while attending Badger High School in Lake Geneva. He went on to earn a B.S. in Engineering Technology – Construction Management from Oklahoma State University in 2014.

Determined to forge his own path in the industry, Thor joined Vaughn Construction, where he spent nine years working on large-scale healthcare and institutional projects for clients such as the University of Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor, UNT, TCU, UT Southwestern Medical Center, and Children’s Health Systems. Throughout his time there, he held key roles including Project Engineer, Project Manager, BIM Coordinator, and VDC Manager for the Dallas branch.
